Open audition

Background
This Image is No more is an art project initiated by the artists Juan Pedro Fabra, Loulou Cherinet and Michele Masucci and produced in collaboration with Sinne art gallery in 2012. The opening will be in September this same year.

The art project This Image is No More is thematizing issues concerning identity, politics and the construction of national identity utilizing narrative techniques and theatrical stagings in public space.

We are now looking to find candidates to participate in the project. Possible candidatet can be from the fields of  theatre and art and of all ages, backgrounds and levels of experience.
The duration of the individual auditions will be 15 minutes in total.

Applicants may prepare one of the following:

 

A monologue from a contemporary play.

A scene to be read from any show.

 

Please bring a minimum of two  copies of the manuscript of your choice.Auditions are by appointment only. To schedule an appointment send an email to Sinne at sinne@proartibus.fi and please send a copy to audition@goodtv.eu

Audition appointments are scheduled for the following times:
4th - 5th February 2012,
11am – 4pm
Auditions are held at Sinne.
(Iso Roobertinkatu 16, 00120 Helsinki)

Please bring three headshots and résumés. Plan to arrive for your audition 20 minutes prior to your scheduled appointment.
Auditions are held in Swedish, English or Finnish.
DEADLINE for applications is 2nd February , 5pm

World Design Capital Helsinki 2012 and the WDC 2012 Open Doors Weekend.
